Let’s Make Your Full Time RV Life the Best It Can Be!
Hi! Larry and Lona here.

Living the full time RV life is like anyone else’s life in a lot of ways, but in many more ways, it’s very different. And these differences mean we full timers need to handle things in ways we’ve probably never done.
And although, for instance, your living space is (much) smaller and you’ll most likely be moving away from the familiar – friends, family, doctors, stores, roads, hair stylists (oh no!) – we’ve found that it’s all doable and even pleasurable.
Right this moment, we are sitting outside our RV on a beautiful, sunny Florida winter day, totally enjoying our fulltime RV life looking forward to sharing what we’ve learned since 2015 about this full time lifestyle. We want to make sure your RV life is the best it can be, too.
We also want to share with you the remarkable places we’ve been to or plan to visit. We’ll tell you what we learn along the way. It may just help you put together your next big trip. With a home that moves, why not travel to see all the beauty there is to see?
First, how about a bit of background on us so you can get to know us better?
We are Larry and Lona Pitts and we’ve been full timers since 2015 when Larry sold his tennis court construction business. That year, we sold our home, found new owners for most of our belongings and hit the road.
All during our 40-year marriage we’ve loved traveling to new places, so the full time RV lifestyle was a natural for us.
Thus far we’ve made a trip up the East coast, one through the Midwest, down the West coast and most recently up through Wisconsin and Michigan. Even when we are in our home state of Florida, we change scenery every few weeks.
Currently we’re traveling in our 2007 Gulfstream Tourmaster Motorhome after trading in our 2015 Heartland Cyclone fifth wheel toy hauler, which was our first RV.
We certainly thought our first RV would be our last. (After all, we did a ton of research before buying it.) And although we heard your first RV is never your last, we just knew we’d be the exception, so we purchased brand new. Wish we could do that over again. Haha.
We always travel with our Harley Road Glide motorcycle, which is why we started with a fifth wheel toy hauler. Nowadays we haul the bike in the bed of our towed Ford F150 after loading it using an electric winch system.
Friends ask if we miss having a home base and there is never any hesitation. We love our fulltime RV life.

If you think we can help you on your full time (or semi-full time) journey or you’d just like to connect with us, please leave us a comment. We look forward to being of service and getting to know you.
